Spotplex Redesign & Behind-the-Scenes Analytics

Spotplex, the Technorati rival, has a new homepage and new widgets for blogging platforms. The new homepage is designed to better direct site visitors to the content they seek. More categorizationadn geographical tracking enables site visitors to view content with multiple filters and views, as well as easier tools for finding the content in the first place.

This also includes an improved language selection tool for choosing from 40+ languages within the vast sea of blog content.

The new widget tools are for blogging platform providers for running your blog. Expanding on Spotplex’s existing analytics, the new tools will show you analytics based on individual posts along with adjustable timelines, referral source analytics, and overall blog and articletrafic monitoring.

These new tools delve a bit deeper into analytics than previous options presented by Spotplex, and differ largely byhten fact that these new tools are for bloggers’ eyes only: the readers won’t see the additional metrics offered through this new suite. Will an extended ad network be next on Spotplex’s list? Technorati Japan has already teamed up with AdButterfly for a do-it-yourself advertising option through its network, which targets social media such as blog posts for targeted ads.
